Freckles are multiple flat spots that may develop after repeated exposure to sunlight. They are made up of cluster of skin cells that contain the pigment melanin. They vary in colour and density but are always darker than the normal skin around them. Excessive exposure to sun is the main cause behind freckles. Genetics, hormonal imbalance and fair skin also contribute for causing freckles.

Sepia: A yellowish-brown saddle-like appearance on the nose and cheeks along with wrinkled skin are indicative of Sepia.
Cadmium sulphuratum: Yellow stains on the cheeks and nose that worsens on exposure to sun and wind indicate Cadmium sulphuratum.
Lycopodium: Grayish-yellow colour of face with blue circles around eyes. Withered, shrivelled, old-looking face.
